Dental Health Services Victoria advertises job opportunities at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and independent community dental clinics across Victoria on this site.

 

How to apply:

Step 1 – Registering an account

To apply for a vacancy, "register" and create an account.

Once registered, you will be able to:

  • apply for positions that you’re interested in
  • set up and receive job alerts based on your skills and preferences
  • be contacted by DHSV if your skills fit the profile of a position we are recruiting for.

Step 2 – Applying

Once you submit your application for a job, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received.

All applications will be reviewed within a reasonable timeframe and applicants will be informed of the outcome via phone or email.

As the vacancies listed are with community clinics throughout Victoria, the assessment process and timeframes may vary in line with their internal procedures.

DHSV is only able to consider applications from Australian Residents or Citizens or those who have a valid working visa. All DHSV employees are required to undertake a police check in their first three months of employment.

 

Clinical requirements

If you are applying for a clinical position, you will also need to provide evidence of relevant qualifications:

  • Evidence of your current dental registration
  • Evidence of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice dentistry
  • Radiation licence
  • Working with children check
  • If you are an overseas trained dentist; you can attain accreditation from the Australian Dental Council (ADC). If you need to take the ADC exam, DHSV offers courses to help prepare you.
